throwback to an amazing holiday.

For our last proper holiday before moving to Oz, David and I spent a blissful week on the Greek island of Astypalaia, which is around ten hours by ferry from Athens and very close to Turkey. It is such an amazing place, truly unspoilt with delicious local food and insanely clear water. I was reminded of this rather dreamy holiday when I came across a lovely photo blog called Illustrated Adventures, run by Alli. She has been posting some great shots of her travels in Turkey – and the rugged landscapes, cats and goats reminded me so much of our holiday.

Here are a few of my shots from Greece, I could seriously jump on a plane and go back there right now…just look at that blue sky and the colour of the sea. Gargh.

    • Thanks so much. You should definitely go – I can’t really imagine a better place to go on holiday to be honest! 🙂

  1. These are beautiful Claire – and I agree, so much like Turkey! We haven’t gotten to Greece yet… it just inched up higher on the travel to-do list! Thanks for the shout out 🙂

  2. Greece must be so amazing! I still can’t believe I have lieved in Europe 30 years and never been to Greece besides work trips to Athens and Tessaloniki!! Your pictures are stunning and make me want to hop on a plane Greece-bound just now!!
